Rescue FAQs

We are a small, nonprofit 501(c)3 cat rescue working on the east side of Buffalo, NY. We focus on TNVR efforts to help with the feral and stray cat populations, getting them fixed and vetted and finding homes for any cat that is friendly and sociable towards people. We are a foster based rescue, meaning all of our cats are located in foster homes and meeting them is by appointment only!

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. If you see a cat you are interested in, please fill out an application for them!
  2. Meet the Pet
    1. If your application is approved for the cat you applied for, you may come and meet the cat at the foster home.
  3. Pay Fee
    1. If you want to adopt the cat, you pay the fee and fill out the paperwork. We can deliver the cat within 30 minutes of the foster home.
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. If in the first 3 weeks the cat does not work out and you decide to return it, your adoption fee will be refunded.

Additional adoption info

All cats are fully vetted before being adopted out (spayed/neutered, vaccinated and combo tested).
All cats are located in foster homes, so meet and greets are by appointment only. Your application must be approved before the meet and greet.
We will deliver the cat you are adopting to your home for you so long as it is within a 30 minute drive of the foster location.
All pets in your home must be current on their vaccines and must be spayed/neutered in order for you to be qualified for adoption of one of our cats.
You will be given a "trial" period, sort of a "foster-to-adopt" situation, of 3 weeks to see if the cat is a good fit for your home. If for any reason the cat does not work out in those 3 weeks and you return the cat to us, your adoption fee will be refunded to you. If you decide to return the cat AFTER 3 weeks, your adoption fee will not be refunded to you.
