Rescue FAQs

With the high euthanasia of Siberian Huskies and German Shepherds, Goliath Mountain Rescue made it their mission to save their lives from a heart-wrenching fate. We visit high-kill shelters to save as many Siberian Huskies and German Shepherds as possible and then rehabilitate them so they can live a fulfilling life in a loving home. When our dogs are rescued from shelter life they need to be examined by a veterinarian to ensure their optimal health and if they haven’t been fixed they will be spay or neutered. Additionally they will receive abundant love, quality nutrition, and basic training. Followed by an examination of breed tendencies to better understand what type of home environment each animal will thrive in
