Our mission is to save the lives of vulnerable animals from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean by providing safe transport, compassionate care, and adoption opportunities in the United States. We are dedicated to reducing overpopulation and suffering through rescue, fostering, education and spay/neuter services, while connecting deserving animals with loving families and advocating for a future where every animal is valued and protected.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
  2. Interview
    1. One of our adoption coordinators will reach out to you to discuss what type of dog would best fit your needs and family.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. Once approved, you will be connected with the animals foster to schedule an in-person meet and greet.
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. After the meet and greet, if the animal is a good fit, a trial adoption will be scheduled where you bring the animal home for a trial period
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. if after the trial period you wish to adopt the animal, you will complete our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
  6. Pay Fee
    1. Most adoption fees are $395 for dogs.
