Polk County Humane Society is a rural animal rescue located in southwest Missouri. We ensure a lifetime of safety, love and companionship for lost, abandoned and unwanted pets. We provide shelter and care in a safe environment for pets awaiting a second chance. We adopt those pets to responsible, loving and committed homes and we hope your's is one of those homes!
This transport location serves the cities and counties surrounding Aurora, Colorado. The Hope for Paws Colorado makes twice monthly runs from Missouri to this location.

We are happy to facilitate virtual visits with our pets using FaceTime or other apps and help get them that Last Mile Home to you! Transport adoptions are done on a scheduled date to your city.
