We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) all-volunteer, foster-based cat rescue serving the greater Traverse City area and surrounding counties. Our mission is to help cats and kittens in the greater Traverse City region through rescue, spay/neuter, fostering, adoption, education and community collaboration.

Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Go to our website www.tcpaw.org and fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire.
- Interview
- An adoption coordinator will call to complete a phone interview.
- Home Check
- Adoption coordinator will call personal and veterinarian references.
- Approve Application
- Meet the Pet
- Pets may be in foster homes or at the Traverse City Pet Smart cattery to meet potential adopters.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Pay Fee
- Take the pet home!
