In 2015, while his dad was stationed in San Angelo, Texas, then 4 year old Roman, learned that not all dogs make it out of shelters alive. He became a boy on a mission and was determined to give every dog more than a life in a kennel. ​ Originally, it started as Roman just visiting dogs in the shelters and making videos to help them find loving families in the local area. Everything changed in December of 2016 when Project Freedom Ride was born. Since then Project Freedom Ride has helped save over 4,800 dogs & cats.
