AWOL is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing ethical and humane treatment to lost, stray, or abandoned animals, educating the public on animal welfare, and offering affordable spays and neuters.

Additional adoption info

Animals have to be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. This is covered completely by the adoption fee if the adopter uses one of our local approved vets. If the adopter wants to have the spay/neuter done by a different vet, AWOL will pay a portion of the cost. All animals leaving prior to being spayed/neutered require a deposit that will be returned to the adopter after proof of spay/neuter.
