Rescue FAQs

WAAG was founded in 2019 and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization operated solely by animal loving volunteers. We are devoted to giving a voice to the abandoned, neglected or abused animals in Wahkiakum County located in southwest Washington and neighboring communities. We also strive to be a resource for those who are seeking a little extra support or guidance in caring for their furry family members. It is WAAG’s mission to assist abused, neglected, abandoned and stray animals, to educate the public on the proper care of animals, and to promote spaying and neutering of companion animals.
