Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is an independent, nonprofit animal welfare agency serving Southern California since 1877. Donations run programs and services including animal cruelty investigations, violence prevention humane education initiatives, disaster response, pet adoptions, and a host of shelter services. spcaLA is dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals through Education, Law Enforcement, Intervention, and Advocacy.
