Rescue FAQs

Lady's Legacy is dedicated to transforming the lives of stray and abandoned dogs. Inspired by our namesake, Lady, whose life ended too soon, we focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need. Our mission is to reduce pet overpopulation by adopting and transporting dogs from Texas to loving homes in other states, honoring Lady's memory through each life we save.
We encourage out of state adopters due to our pet overpopulation in Texas. Transport is available and included in the adoption fee. San Antonio, and surrounding areas also served.
