Rescue FAQs
We are a 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia lists, primarily in Texas. We partner with trusted transport companies to help dogs safely reach their adoptive homes. Our mission is to give every dog a second chance, and we remain committed to the lifelong well-being of the pets we rescue.
The entire United States and Canada. All of our pets can be transported and that price is included in adoption fee when possible.
Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationCompleting an application helps us learn about your home, lifestyle, and the best match for your family.
- InterviewThe phone interview helps us answer questions and discuss the dog’s needs, personality, and fit for your home.
- Approve ApplicationApproved applications move forward based on finding the best match for both the dog and the adopter.
- Meet the PetMeet and greets allow families and dogs to interact in person to ensure a safe and positive connection.
- Home CheckHome checks help ensure the home is safe, secure, and appropriate for the dog’s specific needs- these occur virtual or in person.
- Sign Adoption ContractThe adoption contract outlines expectations, care requirements, and responsibilities to support a safe adoption.
- Pay FeeAdoption fees help cover veterinary care, transport, food, and support for dogs waiting for homes.
