Shelter FAQs

The Kaufman County Animal Pet Adoption Center's groundbreaking ceremony event was held on March 23, 2021, and on April 5, 2022, the ribbon was cut for the Grand Opening. We are excited to share the site of the 12,560-square-foot Kaufman County Pet Animal Adoption Center. Our goal includes welcoming more visitors and volunteers, increasing adoption rates, and educating pet owners about caring for their animals.
