City of Great Falls Animal Shelter

The City of Great Falls Animal Shelter has been proudly serving pets and people since 2007, when the city took over operations from the Humane Society. Since then, we’ve worked hard to create a safe, welcoming space for homeless and lost animals. We are honored to be designated as a no-kill shelter by the Best Friends Animal Society, reflecting our commitment to saving lives and ensuring every adoptable animal has a chance to thrive. Our mission is threefold: - Reuniting Families: We help lost pets find their way back home. - Finding Forever Homes: Every animal deserves a loving family, and we’re dedicated to making that happen. - Community Impact: While we’re still growing our programs, we’re proud to host free rabies and microchip clinics for canines to help keep our community’s pets healthy and safe. We’re a small, city-run team with a big heart, and we rely on the incredible support of our volunteers and donors to keep tails wagging.
