Our Mission: At Poi Dogs & Popoki, our mission is to reduce Oahu's high euthanasia rate. We are dedicated to promoting animal welfare and ensuring that every animal has the chance to find a loving forever home. Our vision is to create a compassionate community where animals are treated with respect and given the care they deserve. Our History: Poi Dogs & Popoki has been serving the community for almost 15 years. We are a small, volunteer-run organization and have grown to become one of the most respected foster based animal rescues on Oahu. Our dedication to the rescue and care of animals is what drives us every day. We have no paid staff and rely on the love and support of volunteers. And the generous donations of animal lovers enables us to rescue and care for animals in need.
