Wagging Hearts is a 100% foster-based, non-for-profit rescue organization. Our mission is to rescue abandoned, neglected, and stray companion animals, work to secure a better life for them in loving homes, and provide a lifetime of support to animals that remain in our care.

We are an all-volunteer animal rescue organization that believes all lives are worth saving and vow to provide our animals with the love they need to blossom into all they can and should be.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which is then reviewed.
  2. Interview
    We will get in contact with you after reviewing your application with questions. We may contact references or require a home visit.
  3. Meet the Pet
    Schedule a time to meet with the pet you are interested in with the foster.
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
    If you are approved, we will proceed with filling out the adoption contract. The full adoption fee is due at this time.
