We are a 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to saving dogs and cats from high-kill shelters across the United States and placing them in loving forever homes.
Lucky's Legacy Provides adoption services all over the United Sates & Canada.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Please follow the pet’s specific adoption link located in the "My Story" Section.
  2. Interview
    1. This Process is completed by Lucky's Legacy reviewing the submitted application and contacting you with additional information and steps.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. You can schedule a meet and greet for in person or via Facetime/Zoom.
  4. Home Check
    1. You can schedule a home check for in person or via Facetime/Zoom.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
  6. Pay Fee
    1. All our adoption fees include the cost of transportation to our rescue, and to be fully vetted (Vaccinations, Spayed/Neutered).
  7. Take the Pet Home

Lucky's Legacy Rescue exists to serve the best interest of the animals in our care; thus, we have the right to deny the adoption of any animal at any time. Furthermore, Lucky's Legacy Rescue is not responsible for any veterinarian responsibilities that may occur once the adoption process has been completed, unless specified otherwise by an official staff member of the rescue.
