Rescue FAQs

We are a small rescue started to help one of the poorest counties in Texas. There are so many beautiful souls waiting for rescue and adoption. We also try to focus one helping our community with low-cost microchips, basic vaccines and supplies like bedding, cat litter, collars, etc.
Our Mission: To rescue, rehab and rehome the homeless animals of Coleman County because Every Life Matters.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Adoption application is very long and thorough.once submitted potential adopters will receive a reply in 1-5 business days.
  2. Interview
    1. The interview to ask questions and discuss the answers on the application. After the interview references are checked.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. If the application and interview are both approved meeting the prospective pet is next.
  4. Home Check
    1. Home visits are conducted for each adoptable pet in our program and shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Completing an adoption contract is the next step.
  6. Pay Fee
    1. Adoption fees vary depending on many factors. We strive to keep ours as low as possible.
  7. Take the Pet Home
    1. Please remember the rule of 3s of decompression with your new pet. 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months.
