Rescue FAQs

Inspired by the parable of the starfish, Big Apple Cats is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need, one life at a time. Our focus is on the quality of rescue, and truly 'making a difference to that one'. Our mission is to find compassionate and caring adopters so that every cat receives the love, care, and second chance they deserve.

We strive to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering, while advocating for the voiceless and underserved cats in our neighborhoods. We aim to make a difference—one cat at a time—and to inspire others in our community to start saving 'starfish' of their own.
