Rescue FAQs

Save Ohio Strays was founded 20 years ago to save strays in Medina and surrounding areas. We work with many local shelters and rescue organizations. Save Ohio Strays is a small volunteer foster-home based rescue with no facility to house animals. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer organization.
Medina and surounding communities. We will not adopt out to a driving radius greater than 3 hours from Medina, Ohio.

Additional adoption info

The first step is to submit an application which is then checked. The adopters then come to meet the animal and decide if they want to adopt. If so, they have a 2 week trial period tin case it doesn't work.
