Misfits & Underdogs is a village of big-hearted rescuers in South Mississippi fighting for the discarded, the overlooked, and the underdogs (& kitties too). We believe every underdog deserves place to call home.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Please submit our online application and our volunteer team will be in touch once your application is approved.
  2. Interview
    1. We conduct virtual interviews and meet and greets for out of town adopters to determine if the pet is a great fit for you/your family.
  3. Take the Pet Home
    1. We offer both local and out of state adoptions. For out of state adoptions we transport with reputable transporters to your area.
