Rescue FAQs

It all started with Tank—my soul dog, the one who chose me. Tank was more than a pet; he was family and the inspiration behind everything we do today. Animals have always held a special place in our hearts, and throughout the years, our family has taken in all sorts of dogs while also raising dachshunds. Eventually, we realized that helping dogs wasn’t just something we did—it was who we are. That’s when we decided to take the leap and become an official rescue. What makes us different is our understanding of both sides of the conversation. We believe in the importance of spaying and neutering pets to prevent overpopulation, but we also understand why families might want purebred puppies, having raised them ourselves. We strive to bridge that gap by promoting responsible pet ownership while offering second chances to dogs in need. Our rescue is a labor of love, built on the belief that every dog deserves to feel the unconditional love that Tank gave to me.
