Rescue FAQs

At Smallest Souls Animal Rescue, we believe that life will out—even in the tiniest, most fragile lives. Based in Kissimmee, Florida, we specialize in saving the most vulnerable: orphaned newborn puppies and kittens, bottle babies, and animals that others often overlook. Our founder, Isela Merino, has spent over 30 years in animal rescue, driven by a lifelong commitment to giving the smallest souls a fighting chance.

We operate around the clock to provide life-saving care, from emergency bottle feeding to medical treatment and loving foster placement. Every life we save is a testament to the power of compassion, resilience, and second chances.

Whether it's a litter of day-old puppies or a misunderstood mama dog, we believe every animal deserves love and a forever home. We welcome adopters, fosters, and supporters to be part of our mission—because when we care for the smallest, we make the biggest difference.
