Rescue FAQs

Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions, Gulf Coast Chapter is a 501(c) (3) non-profit all volunteer organization that is dedicated to the placement of retired racing greyhounds into qualified, caring and loving homes since 2003. It is our mission to educate the public regarding the gentle nature and wonderful temperament of the greyhound breed. With the closing of the Florida race tracks in 2020, the number of local greyhounds needing placement in loving homes has been significantly reduced. While we are still doing everything we can to help retired racers from other states and countries, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our mission to now work with other sighthounds and closely related sighthound breeds!
Primarily Florida however we are expanding.
