The Sacramento County Bradshaw Animal Shelter is one of Northern California’s largest shelters. We believe in the humane treatment of all animals. Our Mission is to provide public safety and protect the health and welfare of animals in our communities through education and compassion.

You are welcome to adopt from our shelter if you live anywhere in the United States, but it is a requirement to visit the shelter in person to adopt and license your pet with your hometown.​ We do not ship animals.

Additional adoption info
