Shelter FAQs

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.

Additional adoption info

The fee for adoption is $50, cash only. We have many great pets available for adoption at our shelter and during our offsite adoption events. There is no resident location requirement to adopt a pet from us. We have a friendly staff that will assist you in locating a compatible pet for your home and family.
