We require an adoption application and adoption fee for all animals. Landlord approval is needed for adoptions, if you are a renter. The cost of adoptiong a cat or dog includes spay or neuter, vaccination(s), dewormer, flea treatment as needed, microchip, and a travel box or leash. Kittens are tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia Aids. Dogs are tested for Heartworm for an additional fee upon request. You are required to purchase a dog license if you live within our jurisdiction (an annual fee) and required to register a cat (a one time fee) at the time of adoption. Adoption fees are based on the age and type of pet being adopted, and potentially, the length of time they have been at the shelter.
