Gulf Coast Doberman Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of unwanted purebred Doberman Pinschers in LA, MS and AL. Our organization is run soley by unpaid volunteers. All dogs undergo a temperament evaluation and are fully vetted before placement (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested/treated for intestinal parasites and heartworms.)

We require an adoption application, vet reference and home check prior to being considered eligible to adopt a dog from our organization. All adopted Dobermans are placed on a contract. We adopt Dobermans out as family companions- not "yard" or guard dogs. There is a $225 fee for all adult Dobermans (1-6 years of age), $275 for puppies under 1 year of age and $150 for seniors (over 7 years of age)
