Rescue FAQs

Oklahoma Aussie Rescue provides referral services, listings, and placement of unwanted or abandoned Aussies. We take Australian Shepherds in to the program whenever possible. We also provide listings for Aussie Mixes and Non-Aussies. Particularly fond of the herding breeds, but will list any in the area. Oklahoma Aussie Rescue currently consists of two people. Sonja Hahn and Cristal Russell. We do our best to crate train, house train,or other, and obedience train in beginners class at least. We do ask an adoption fee to help defer costs. All dogs will be spay/neutered before you can adopt them from us.

Additional adoption info

We do require a signed application and adoption agreement. A home check may be required as well.
