Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is an independent, nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Southern California since 1877. Donations run programs and services including Cruelty Investigations, Disaster Animal Response Team, Humane Education and a variety of shelter services.

  2. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. Visit an spcaLA adoption center and meet your Friend for Life! An adoption counselor will review your application with you in person.
  3. Approve Application
    1. If the application is approved, the adoption counselor with complete the adoption.

spcaLA pet adoption centers are open 11am - 3pm Wednesday - Sunday.
