Rescue FAQs

No.American Shar-Pei Rescue (NASPR) is a national organization dealing with breed only rescue of purebred Chinese Shar-Pei. We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization incorporated in Tennessee. We have a a website for promoting adoption of fostered animals which meet our criteria, Board of Directors, and 8 Regional Coordinators that cover all 50 states and 3 affiliated coordinators that cover Canada.

Additional adoption info

Fees generally start at $175.00 per dog and include full spay/neuter, UPD on shots, and any other necessary/ threatening health care needed prior to placement.

Each prospective home must submit an online application for adoption and be screening in-person by a volunteer prior to any animal placement. We provide weekly/monthly f/u with placement families and a full range of educational opportunities.
