The Rusk County Animal Shelter in Ladysmith, WI, is a full service shelter, though we do not provide most veterinary services to the public. We shelter, and provide supportive care for stray and un-wanted domestic animals until they can be reunited with their owners, or adopted by new families. We accept surrendered animals when we have space available.
We service Rusk County, but will adopt to any responsible pet owner.

Our goal is to place each animal in our care into a perfect forever home! We work hard to match our animals with a home that will fit their personality Our adoption fees are $150/dog and $75/cat. If you rent, we ask that you have landlord permission to bring home a pet.
