Rescue FAQs

People Assisting Animals in Need (PAAIN) is a not for profit organization (510 c 3) that is dedciated to ending the homeless pet population in the state of Indiana. We do this by offering very progressive spay/neuter assistance and by placing only spayed or neutered animals into homes. All of our animals are temperament tested and fully vetted spayed/neutered with age appropirate vaccines/wormer/hw test/preventative/flea control.
We adopt to: Midwest - OH - IN South - KY We offer spay/neuter services in Indiana

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees range from $175.00 to $300.00depending on the age/breed/vet care of animal and if we transport the animals safely and humanely to Enfield, CT for pickup (bus picture is posted). We have a contract that must be signed. We do not accept credit cards - we accept checks and cash - or you can pay via PAYPAL with a credit card by adding a 3% surcharge (this is what they charge us!). We do check references and are concerned with matching the right dog to the right family - we have a near zero return rate because of this policy!
