Rescue FAQs

Pet Partners, Incorporated, is a nonprofit organization, with 501(c)(3) status, formed by a small group of volunteers, sponsored and assisted by the City of Rawlins, to provide assistance to our local Rawlins Animal Shelter and the Animal Control Officers, who serve our community. Pet Partners is taking a leadership role in providing services and funding that support our mission and assist the animal shelter in creating a safe environment for surrendered, stray and neglected animals, as well as serving the entire of Carbon County through many other programs. Pet Partners is leading the charge to establish a policy to avoid euthanasia whenever possible, and help with low-cost spay/neuter programs quarterly through our local veterinarians: as well as several other assistance programs such as TNR of feral cats,and transport of dogs and cats to rescue and adoption.

Adoption is $25.00 for both cats and dog, adoptions are done through the Rawlins Rochelle Animal Shelter in Rawlins, WY, with a few arranged privately.
Animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption
