Rescue FAQs

The Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, Inc. (IMPS) is an international organization formed in July 1998 by a group of Minpin lovers that recognized a need to place homeless minpins in appropriate homes. We spay or neuter our dogs prior to placement, fully evaluate their health and temperment, and ensure they are up to date on all immunizations. We work closely with adoptive homes before and after adoptions. IMPS actively searches for minpins in need of assistance and places them in approved homes where they can become the family members they were meant to be. We also need loving foster homes! Please feel free to contact our foster parents about particular dogs of interest, or send an email to Lisa, our Arizona adoption coordinator, at IMPSAZ@cs.com if you have questions or would like to volunteer. You can also get more information on our organization on our website: www.minpinrescue.org. We hope to meet you soon!
We are an international organization. Our branch serves all of Arizona.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees vary depending on the amount of veterinary care required by each dog. The cost is discussed and the adoption fee agreed upon prior to the adoption.
Once an online adoption application is received (available at: www.minpinrescue.org), you will receive a letter outlining the adoption process, who to contact
if you want to meet our dogs or have questions, and where to go to get more information on miniature pinschers. We conduct home visits to ensure the appropriate
placement and safety of both our adopters and dogs.
