Rissa's Haven

Rissa's Haven was founded after I rescued a little pitbull who had been used as a bait dog. She was just a baby and only lived to be 2 years old but the time she was in our lives we will always be grateful for. We have a passion for the bully breeds and as you will see most of our adoptable dogs are bullies. Our other passion is senior dogs who tend to have a hard time finding homes due to their age. If you are looking to adopt a new pet please consider a Pitty or a senior dog! We work daily to educate people on the misconception of the Pitbull breed. They are extremely loving, loyal dogs who have been given a very unfair wrap. We strive to adopt to people who want to help end this stigma and show the world what that it bad owners are to blame not the breed!
