Additional adoption info
Starting the process requires an adoption application to be filled out. The applications can be printed out on your home computer in several different formats on our website at www.hdbr.net. Mail that to us. We will then schedule a home visit to insure that the Hound you have chosen will be happy in your environment and you will be happy with him of her. Once the adoption has been approved, we will arrange transportation to have the Hound delivered to your home through a network of transportation volunteers. When the Hound arrives we will ask you to complete and sign an adoption agreement and make a tax-deductible donation to Heart of Dixie Basset Hound Rescue.
