We are a Managed intake, 501c3, municipal shelter that provides for homeless animals in our community.
We area managed intake municipal Animal Care and Control Organization in Jackson, Tn.

  • 4. Approve Application
  • 5. Sign Adoption Contract
  • 6. Pay Fee
  • 7. Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Our Adoption Fees are:

* All canine adoption fees are $80 and feline adoption fees are $40, which includes: spay/neuter, heartworm testing for dogs, feline Leukemia/AIDS testing for cats, vaccinations & deworming for both, plus any additional veterinary care the animal may need.

Adoption Guidelines

* Cats are almost always placed as indoor pets.

* Dogs must be kept inside or in a fenced yard.

* No chains are accepted.

* Renters must have approval from their landlords.

* JACC reserves the right to deny any adoptions.
