Shelter FAQs

We are a public shelter ran by the Cullman County Government. We are here to provide a service to the county while also trying to find good homes to as many animals as possible. We also work closely with Animal Control for Cullman County, so we enforce state and local animal law as well. We strive hard to educate the public about animals as much as possible.
We are happy to adopt nationwide but we do not ship our pets. They must be picked up at the Vet clinic by the adopter or a transport unit arranged by the new adopter. For the most current listing of our animals please see www.cullmananimalshelter.petfinder.com or our Facebook Page Cullman County Animal Shelter

Additional adoption info

Dog adoption fee is $100 and Cats are $75. Both adoption fees include Spay/Neuter, Rabies Shot, Vaccinations and a Microchip.
