Shelter FAQs

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (formerly the Riverside Humane Society) is an Adoption Guarantee Organization that takes in healthy, adoptable animals. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, updated on all vaccinations and microchipped upon adoption. They enjoy indoor, comfortable kennels and are socialized by volunteers on a regular basis. Our mission is to eliminate the suffering of homeless cats and dogs by: •Providing humane care for pets in transition •Facilitating adoptions to loving homes •Providing humane and pet overpopulation education to the public •Supporting sterilization of companion animals
We are located in Riverside, and serve all of southern California.
