Rescue FAQs

Since 2005 we have rescued, rehabilitated, and re-homed dogs in need. We have helped over 250 dogs and puppies find safe and loving homes. We normally only have 2-3 dogs at one time, unless we have rescued an entire litter or have taken in a pregnant dog. Each of our adoptable dogs have been spayed or neutered, are up to date on vaccinations, and are on heartworm prevention meds. Each has had individual attention on a daily basis and is ready to become a loving addition to an approved home.
We are located in Brown County, Ohio. Our adopters have traveled to us from as far away as South Carolina, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, and Michigan.

Additional adoption info

We require potential adopters to complete our application and submit it for approval. If more than one person or family applies to adopt a particular dog or puppy, we reserve the right to choose the home that is, in our estimation, the most appropriate for that individual dog or puppy.

Potential adopters must visit at least once prior to adopting a dog or puppy. We do not ship dogs, but we do approve out-of-state adopters if they meet our other requirements and travel to our location.

An adoption contract is required.
