Rescue FAQs
We are volunteer run, foster-based cat rescue (NO SHELTER to visit OR CLINIC. Cats are treated for fleas & parasites; are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (including rabies) & microchipped them prior to going to their new forever homes. We need fosters as we are FULL at this time. Can you help?

Adoption steps
- InterviewNO FACILITY: Read our process here: https://spaythestrays.rescuegroups.org/
Must be local to us, home visits REQUIRED, no exceptions. - InterviewTEXT Anita: 407-460-2305. Saturday events: 1-4 Kissimmee PetSmart, come in person. Some fosters require applications--read cat pages pls.
- Meet the PetIf approved, meet and greet will be scheduled.
- Home CheckHome visit entails making sure home is ready for cats and noting any possible concerns. Easy peasy.
- Sign Adoption ContractComplete the contract online: https://spaythestrays.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5901
- Pay FeePay fee via PayPal donate button on our website. See the home page for adoption fee info: https://spaythestrays.rescuegroups.org/
- Take the Pet HomeRecords & chip info will be emailed, check spam box. Send updates to the email you get your records from. Vet takes 2+ months to get records

Home visits are REQUIRED so you must be within 40 miles of 34741, NO EXCEPTIONS.
