Additional adoption info
We start our adoption process with an over the phone interview. There is also an application on our website. When we have what we feel is a good match between pug and family, the family is contacted and a "meet and greet " is arranged. If all goes well, the adoption is granted. An adoption contract is signed by both the adopting family and the PRoNE representative. At this time a non-refundable adoption fee is paid. Fees are adjusted by age and condition of the pug.
under 1 year ( we don't get many )= $300.00
1-7 years old = $250.00
7-10 years old = $200.00
over the age of 10 we ask for a donation
Before adoptions PRoNE evaluates all pugs for temperment, updates innoculations, spays/neuters and takes care of existing medical problems to the best of our ability . No reimbursements are required for this but donations are greatly appreciated.
