Homeward Bound K-9's

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Homeward Bound K-9's is completely dependent on the generosity of others. Homeward Bound K-9's does not have paid employees, only volunteers who graciously donate their time to these deserving dogs. Homeward Bound K-9's volunteers have jobs, families, and other important commitments. We do Canine rescue because we want to make a difference for those Dogs that are not blessed with good homes. Homeward Bound K-9's is dedicated to placing dogs in our care into loving and dedicated forever homes. Homeward Bound K-9’s does not have a shelter with hours of operation.. Rescued dogs stay in kennels or foster homes, where they receive vet care, nutritious food, and love. While in our care, dogs are evaluated by a veterinarian and receive any treatment necessary. All dogs are up to date on their shots, micro- chipped, and spayed or neutered before going to their adopted home. In addition, we provide a personality evaluation of each dog to ensure a better match between dog and prospective forever homes.
