Rescue FAQs

AAE serves Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, but we have had animals come from over 2,000 miles to receive care and find adoptive homes.

Additional adoption info

We offer no fee adoptions. All animals are current of vaccinations, spay/neutered and have had any other medical conditions resolved or diagnosed and maintained. We require and adoption application and home visit prior to adoption.
