Shelter FAQs

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999 with the mission of creating a No-Kill community in the Midlands of South Carolina. Mission: To alleviate animal suffering and homelessness, set safe and humane standards for companion pets and shelters, and educate and increase awareness of the necessity for spaying and neutering to reduce the overall number of unwanted companion pets, eventually reducing the need for euthanasia. Vision: To impact the quality of life for both people and companion pets through education, medical services, adoptions, collaboration and outreach in an effort to improve community outcomes.
Pawmetto Lifeline serves the Midlands area of South Carolina.
