Rescue FAQs

We are the only non-profit 501c3 rescue in Beaufort County, NC that houses animals for adoption. We do not have a shelter facility but are working towards this goal. We have foster homes for our animals. Animals from Beaufort and surrounding counties are rescued from animal control facilities, vetted including spay/neuter, and made ready for adoption. We have developed a network of rescues from South Carolina to as far North as New Hampshire. The goal is to rescue and move as many animals as possible to the safety of reputable rescues so they can find their new homes. At the same time we are trying to educate the public to spay and neuter their pets to help stop the overwhelming pet population in the area.

Additional adoption info

We require an application, vet reference check, home visit and an adoption contract. Our adoption fee is currently $150.
