Doggie Protective Services (DPS Rescue)

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs and cats live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the animal is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pet for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.

Based in Palo Alto, serving adopters throughout Northern California including the San Francisco Bay Area (Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, Alameda County, Contra Costa County, Marin County, Sonoma County, Napa County), Sacramento, the Central Valley, and Southern California including Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and the Inland Empire. We welcome adopters from anywhere in the United States and Canada who are willing to travel to Palo Alto for adoption appointments. We do not ship dogs—all adoptions require a face-to-face meeting.
