Cocker lovers ourselves, we were inspired by other rescue organizations who were doing something about the high volume of adoptable Cocker Spaniels being euthanized in Southern California shelters. There are not enough cocker rescuers to handle the abundance of dogs that are showing up at the shelters every day. We thought that certainly there must be some amazing dog lovers in Victoria who would love to adopt one of these cutie pies. So we have started Angels Under Our Wings Cocker Rescue, servicing Victoria, B.C. and nearby areas.

We are an all volunteer rescue organization and we are acting as sort of doggie "social workers" for these animals. Not only do we want to place the dogs we rescue in the best home for that particular animal, but we want to place a dog in your home that is the best for YOU and your lifestyle.
We are part matchmaker, part social worker, and just plain soft hearted for these special dogs.
Our adoption process is lengthy and thorough, however, we feel that it helps us to find you - that special gem of a dog guardian . . . the kind of special person these dogs have been dreaming of their whole lives!
Step one) Please fill out an online adoption application at CampCocker.com (our rescue partner) and they will forward it to us.
Step two) You will be contacted by us either via phone or email (we try to get back to everyone within one to two days, but please keep in mind we are volunteers and are doing the best that we can)
Step three) We will talk to you about the dog (s) you may be interested in meeting and see if we can figure out who may be the best "match" for you.
Step four) We set up an appt. for you to meet the dog
Step five) If there is a love match, we do a home safety check
Step six) And if all goes well . . . we have a happy ending with an adoption! Yippeee!!!!!
