Helotes, TX and the far NW San Antonio area including the surrounding unincorporated areas of Bexar County are our primary focus. However, when feasible, we will assist animals and people from all areas of San Antonio, Bexar County and the surrounding areas.

Additional adoption info

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps. Our adoption fees are: Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax Cats and kittens = $105 + tax Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above. These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.
