Shelter FAQs

Stray Hearts is open 6 days a week. Our walk through hours are from 11-4. We are closed on Wednesdays.
We are the only shelter for all of Taos and Taos County

our adoptions fees includes vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, Our fees are as follows: Dogs: puppies to 6 mths. 145, 6mths.-8yrs. $80, 8 and up $55 senior dog to senior citizen free. Cats: kittens to 6 mths $95, 6mths to 8 yrs. $65, 8 and up $45, senior to senior free.
